What data is collected and why

Enquiry form

When you submit an enquiry through this website, I receive your name, email address, and the details you share in your message. I use this to respond to your enquiry and, if we move forward, to manage the booking process. This data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest and, where a contract follows, contractual necessity.

Email correspondence

Enquiries and bookings are managed via Gmail (Google). Emails are retained for as long as they are relevant to the booking relationship, and deleted when no longer needed.

Booking and client management

I use Pixieset CRM and a private Notion database to manage client information during the booking and delivery process. This includes contact details and project notes. Data is kept only for as long as necessary and is not shared with third parties.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how people find the site. GA4 may collect approximate location (country level), device and browser information, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and anonymised; it is not used to identify you personally. Analytics are collected on the basis of legitimate interest.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to track sessions and distinguish users. No other cookies are used on this website. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

What is not collected

- No mailing lists or marketing emails

- No payment details (payments are handled directly and separately)

- No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising

How long data is kept

Enquiry data is kept for as long as it is relevant to a potential or active booking. Client data held in Pixieset and Notion is retained for the duration of the working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:

- access the personal data I hold about you

- request correction or deletion of that data

- object to or restrict how it is processed

- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Portugal: CNPD — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados
