An elopement isn't a wedding that didn't happen, it's a wedding that happened exactly as it should. Just the two of you, a place that means something, and the freedom to actually be present in it.
I work with couples who want to get married their way, whether that's a sunrise on a clifftop on Madeira, a quiet moment in a Lisbon courtyard, a forest ceremony in Sintra, or somewhere else far away. Without a timeline to stick to and a hundred people watching, you can stop performing and start being you.
On this special day I'll be your friend with a camera, helping you get the nice pictures without interrupting the magic. And if you're as passionate about analogue as I am, I'll shoot in both digital and film.
Elopements start from 4 hours and are available across Portugal and Europe. If you've got somewhere in mind (or no idea at all where to start), I'd love to help you figure it out.

let's talk
Fill out the enquiry form with the details of your wedding day or elopement plan. I'll get back to you within 24 hours with my availability and the pricing guide. If I happen to be booked on that day, I'll recommend other amazing photographers.
STEP 02
booking
We'll schedule a call to chat about your ideas, locations, and must-have moments. Once you're ready to go ahead, I'll send over the contract and invoice. Your date is officially locked in my calendar once the contract is signed and the 50% retainer is paid. From that moment — I'm yours.
STEP 03
the vision
Together we'll create a shared Pinterest moodboard to make sure we're aligned on style, vibe, and any references you love. I'll also be around for you in a WhatsApp group or Instagram DMs — send me your ideas, questions, or even sudden inspiration at 2am.
STEP 04
your day
I'll arrive on time (often even 30–60 minutes earlier to get familiar with the location). From there, I'll be your calm shadow with a camera, capturing moments as they unfold and gently guiding when needed.
STEP 05
delivery
Your gallery will be ready within 2 weeks. Every photo is carefully edited in my cinematic style, so when you open it, it'll feel like stepping back into the day all over again.

What exactly is an elopement — do we need to get legally married?
Not at all. For me, an elopement is any celebration where it's just the two of you (or close to it) — whether that's a legal ceremony, a symbolic ritual, a vow exchange at sunrise, or simply a day dedicated entirely to your relationship. The paperwork is optional. The intention is everything.
Can you help us choose a location?
Absolutely. If you already have somewhere in mind, let's make it happen. If you're not sure, I know Portugal well — from the backstreets of Lisbon to the cliffs of the Algarve, the forests of Sintra, the valley of the river Douro, and the wild coastline of Madeira. Tell me what kind of atmosphere you want, and I'll point you in the right direction.
Do you travel outside Portugal for elopements?
Yes. I'm available for elopements across Europe and beyond — the further and more remote, the better, honestly. Travel costs are added on top of the base package. Reach out and I'll put together a custom quote for your destination.
How long does an elopement session last?
Packages start from 4 hours, which is typically enough for getting ready (or a quiet coffee together beforehand), the ceremony or vow exchange, and portrait time in a beautiful location. Longer packages are available if you want to build a fuller day — multiple locations, a celebratory dinner, golden hour portraits, and everything in between.
Do you shoot film or digital?
Both. I love mixing the nostalgic texture of 35mm film with the crisp detail of digital — film adds a certain magic you just can't fake, and the combination gives your gallery depth, warmth, and that cinematic feeling I'm obsessed with. All packages are digital by default, and you can add analogue rolls as an add-on.
Will we receive all the photos? What about RAW files?
I don't deliver every single photo taken, and I never send RAW or unedited files. Part of what you're hiring me for is curation — choosing the frames that truly tell your story. The rest are duplicates, test shots, or moments you probably wouldn't want printed anyway. Think of it this way: you wouldn't go to a restaurant and ask the chef for the raw ingredients instead of the dish. My job is to take all those ingredients — light, composition, emotion — and turn them into something beautiful and complete for you to enjoy. You'll still receive hundreds of carefully edited images, all ready to relive and share.
How long after the elopement will we receive our photos?
Your full gallery will be ready within 2 weeks. Every image is carefully selected and colour-graded in my cinematic editing style.
