Some of my favourite sessions happen with no particular reason behind them — just two people who wanted an excuse to wander somewhere beautiful together and come home with photos that actually look like them.
A couple session is for the pair who got engaged and wants to mark it properly. For the couple who booked a wedding with me and wants to get comfortable in front of a camera before the day. For the two who've been together for years and never had proper photos taken. For anyone visiting Portugal who wants something to remember it by — shot somewhere real, not a tourist backdrop.
I keep things relaxed on purpose. We'll walk, talk, find the light, and I'll follow. There's no posing in the traditional sense — just gentle direction when it helps, and a lot of space for things to feel natural. Most couples tell me afterwards that they forgot I was there. That's exactly what I'm going for.
Sessions are available across Lisbon, Sintra, the Atlantic coast, and further afield — wherever makes sense for you.

STEP 01
let's talk
Fill out the enquiry form with a few details about what you have in mind — including any references or locations you're drawn to. I'll get back to you within 24 hours. And if you have questions before then, my Instagram DMs are always open.
STEP 02
booking
You can book directly on my website — it takes just a few minutes and a 50% retainer to lock in your date. No call required, though if you'd like to chat before committing, we can always arrange that.
STEP 03
the vision
Once you're booked, we'll get into the details. I'll send you a list of location options to choose from based on the atmosphere you're after, and we'll nail down the logistics — especially for anything that needs more planning, like a surprise proposal. A couple of days before the session, I'll send over my clothing guide and confirm the schedule.
STEP 04
your session
For sessions outside the city, I'll often pick you up and drive you to the location — so we'll arrive together, which also gives us a chance to chat before we start. From there, just follow my lead. I'll guide you through the session naturally and suggest moments as they come.
STEP 05
delivery
Your gallery will be ready within one week, delivered through an online gallery that's easy to browse, download, and share. Every photo is carefully edited in my cinematic style — ready to print, frame, and keep.

Everything you need to know about couple photoshoots in Portugal
Do we need a special occasion to book a couple session?
Not at all. Some couples book because they just got engaged. Some because they're visiting Lisbon and want photos that aren't selfies. Some because they've been together for years and simply never had proper photos taken — and they finally decided to fix that. Any reason is a good reason. No reason is also a good reason.
Where can we shoot?
Anywhere that feels right for you. I know Lisbon and the surrounding area well — the backstreets of Alfama and Mouraria, the gardens of Sintra, the cliffs near Setúbal, the golden plains of the Alentejo. If you already have a place in mind, let's use it. If you're not sure, tell me what kind of atmosphere you want and I'll suggest a few options.
How long is a session?
Sessions are 2 hours — long enough to move through a couple of locations and settle into things, short enough that it stays enjoyable. Longer sessions are available if you want to build a fuller afternoon or cover more ground.
What should we wear?
Whatever you actually wear. The goal is for these photos to look like you — not like a styled editorial. That said, a few things help: avoid very bold patterns or matching outfits, bring layers if it's cooler, and wear something you feel good in. I'll send a short style guide once you book.
Do you shoot film or digital?
Both. I love mixing the nostalgic texture of 35mm film with the crisp detail of digital — film adds a certain magic you just can't fake, and the combination gives your gallery depth, warmth, and that cinematic feeling I'm obsessed with. All packages are digital by default, and you can add analogue rolls as an add-on.
Will we receive all the photos? What about RAW files?
I don't deliver every single photo taken, and I never send RAW or unedited files. Part of what you're hiring me for is curation — choosing the frames that truly tell your story. The rest are duplicates, test shots, or moments you probably wouldn't want printed anyway. Think of it this way: you wouldn't go to a restaurant and ask the chef for the raw ingredients instead of the dish. My job is to take all those ingredients — light, composition, emotion — and turn them into something beautiful and complete for you to enjoy. You'll still receive hundreds of carefully edited images, all ready to relive and share.
Do you travel outside Lisbon for sessions?
Of course! Travel within 50 km of Lisbon is included in the price. Beyond that — anywhere in Portugal or Europe — travel is simply added on top. Get in touch, and I'll put together a quote.
